When I moved to Australia, Melbourne immediately felt like home. I loved the city, met up with tons of old friends, made so many new ones, and fell in love. But corona had other plans. Its been 6 months of moving around Australia and I'm not sure that Sydney quite feels like home yet, but getting to watch this from my balcony is sure giving it a leg up 🍻

I had so many plans for 2020 and none of them involved an Australian quarantine, falling for the enemy 🇬🇧 and picking blueberries for a living. Thanks for making every minute of this ridiculous year exciting 😘

My 8 month Instagram hiatus is over!! We both lost our jobs on the drive home because of corona but I couldn't have imagined a better way to end normal life than a road trip through Australia with my best friend ❤

2019 was far and away the best year of my life. It saw 28 countries, 4 continents, 100's of new friends and the start of my new life in Australia. Can't wait to see what fun 2020 brings 🎉

Cappadocia is one of, if not the, most beautiful places I have ever been. It is a city out of a star wars movie and there aren't enough words to describe how amazing the balloon sunrise is. The only bad part is no one will ever be able to convince you that waking up for a sunrise is worth it ever again 🦃

Istanbul was one of the biggest surprises on my trip. Great food, cool markets, nice people, and one of the easiest to photograph cities in the world. Wish I could've spent more time there 🦃

280 days, 27 countries, countless friends and memories made, and a few too many beers later and gap year #1 has finally come to an end. For the rest of my life I will be endlessly grateful for the opportunity I had to travel in a circle around the world, meet the most amazing people, and go to places and see things I had literally dreamt of. I only wish 10 pictures could begin to describe how amazing the last 9 months have been. Home for a month and a half then off again for gap year #2🇦🇺

16 years. Long enough for me to go from the womb to having a driving license. It's hard to even fathom writing that sentence. I'm so grateful that today has gone from a day of sobbing and anger to a day of gratefulness for everyone who has helped my family and I over the years and recognizing how much of impact my dad had on everyone he ever knew, including the unknown impact he would have on an 11 year old Jack. Love you, old man.

Arrived in Ho Chi Minh yesterday, just in time for the lunar new year. So much fun watching the entire vibrant city come alive, light up, and play music into the early hours. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more friendly welcome. Here for one more full day then beginning the journey north!

He probably would’ve taken my phone if he wasn’t so focused on the bananas he was .02 seconds away from snatching from the poor Russian tourist behind me. Also made a blog. It sucks and I’ve already somehow procrastinated on it, but maybe you’ll learn from my mistakes so far and also learn that traveling isn’t very expensive, which would be pretty neat. It’s called travelingwithjack.com. Check it. Or don’t. I’m still going to keep being annoying about travel. On Phuket for the weekend before leaving Thailand Monday afternoon ✈️

Beautiful few days in Pai! So nice to have a change of pace and slow down in a small, quiet, little village without a Tuk-tuk in sight. Been on busses for the last 12 hours and about to board a flight to Krabi and spend the next 2 weeks on the islands 🌴
